My artistic identity is developed within intimate and expressive nude self-portraiture, where I am able to explore my emotions, identity, and experiences. I strive to capture the raw authenticity of moments from my past, reflected and reworked into who I am in the present. Through the nude form, I can metaphorically and physically peel the layers of me apart into a vulnerable and raw version of myself. The relationship between my past and my journey of rediscovering myself through intimate moments and connections within my everyday mundane life becomes a clear theme as I allow for a genuine connection with my inner and past self.
