My dad always told me to do what I love. In life, in work, in play. It’s something he said when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do for a living and it’s something he repeated when encouraging me to pursue design as a career.
I’ve always wanted my work to bring happiness, be enjoyed, and reflect who I am. My interests, my emotions, my beliefs, the things I love; generally all of the things that make me me. I wouldn’t be who I am today without the family, friends, instructors, and mentors who have supported me and influenced me throughout my life.At the top of that list is the man whose unwavering support and overwhelming pride in everything I’ve done has made me the person (and the designer) I am today. This collection of my work is dedicated to Steve May.
I love you, dad. I miss you.
