I make to encompass ideas without words, Seeking to find that intangible feeling that exceeds the sum of transhumanist reflections on identity, dark tragic romances, and the weight of a cold mathematical universe. My art highlights the injustice in our current world; especially issues of gender and identity. I aim to show the perspective of isolation from one’s own body and how that leads to a disconnect from a world that wants to catagorize us based on the flesh we were born with. In addition to depicting fantasized autobiographical bodily horrors, I look at what solutions may fix these issues. My art highlights the transhumanist desire to leave our flesh behind for cybernetic bodies of our own design. It explores how we may cope with the lack of bodily control by rooting our identities solely in the mind, and building greater societies without any biological limitations.
