These images follow my everyday journey of living in this world as a unique individual, documenting my emotions and experiences. Conceptually, I question my physical appearance, my personal relationships, and my childhood. Through the process of creating these images, my goal is to deconstruct and unlearn my past, when I was raised as a little boy, and uncover new compassion and self-love for who I’ve become. “Age of Aquarius” is a series of seven self-portraits, each visually reinterpreting a tarot card from my most recent reading. This reading, known as a chakra spread, pulls seven cards for each one of the seven energy centers along my spinal cord. Starting from the tailbone and ending at the pineal gland: Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown. These images serve as a reminder of where I was in life, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, the night that Pluto shifted into the constellation of Aquarius.

“Severed Tether” is a dance film about distance and connection. Two individuals who are nowhere near one another, send and receive each other’s energy. No matter how far two people may be, as long as the link is intact, their love and deep emotions will be felt.
