I examine the current relationship between the human experience, the natural world, and its future. Working in oils and traditional printmaking methods, I aim to create dynamic pieces to provoke wonder about the outside world and the micro-ecosystems within it. Science and spirit meet in the desire to observe specificity as well as ephemeral beauty. Meticulous details allow meditation on the still moments that coexist within and between ecological phenomena, often forgotten or not distinctly visible to the human eye. Magnificence is found in the transitory, magically organic moments.
