Hi, my name is Anya Chen. I am a industrial designer with experience on product design and focusing on UX/UI. I am most interested in user research and designing interfaces. In the future, I aspire to build trust between my users and emerging technologies. My senior project Ullr is a wireless audio system that ensures the safety of users’ snowboarding/skiing experience. The product consists of three parts: phone application, drop-in speakers, and remote controller. Through thorough research, user testing, iterations and prototyping, I developed the intercom system Ullr which allow users to play music, do group locational tracking and personalized safety features on the slope.
