Adam Adil is a graphic designer based in Chicago, IL. He seeks to inspire people with his work and put his ideas out in the world. Helping others is one of Adam’s core values. The project “Joycality” is an app to designed to combat mundanity, capitalism, and potential depression. It encourages student to step outside of their comfort zone and go explore, while battling the pre-conceived notion students have that they cannot go beyond a certain point in the area. Joycality only features local restaurants as it aims to aid local businesses that may be struggling. Joycality hopes to bridge the gap between students and local businesses in order to show students that they can take agency of themselves and travel beyond campus borders. It hopes to create a future where students no longer have self-imposed restraints on themselves while stimulating the local commerce.
