I am a multidisciplinary creative who carries a passion for storytelling through visual communication. My capstone project embodies my journey as a designer and my growing passion for my culture. Through the hardships of being an international student far from home, I’ve developed a deeper appreciation for my own heritage. Han Cha reflects the theme of nostalgia through my experiences of having tea with my family, the preparation of tea in my household, and the aroma that lingers with this fond memory. Using design as a method of representation and storytelling, I portray a personal connection with my project to challenge the line between the evolution of traditions in a different cultural setting and the value of representation in the design world.
