We live in a society that is structured to fit a certain type of person and because of that so many are excluded or face significant challenges. When you really think about it, we are all disabled, if we consider disability to be something that someone else can do and we cannot. For example, a person who wears glasses can be seen as disabled compared to a person that does not. But of course, we don’t always see it that way. In my future career path, I would like to make it possible so that no one feels like they can’t do what they want to do, whether it’s opening a container to getting from point a to point b. I believe we are all able, it’s just a matter of having the right tools.
