As a student who struggled with social anxiety and enjoying the college experience myself, I want to help others overcome their social anxieties and maybe even sooner than I did.

After conducting a few interviews and surveys I have designed the app HigherSocial to help college students slowly begin to work on overcoming anxiety in social situations and finding community. I hope future students will be able to use this app to learn how to manage their anxiety by doing daily exercises to become more comfortable socializing through exposure, reading others stories, connecting with people who also struggle with social anxiety, and getting involved on campus.
