As an artist, I enjoy using digital tools and digital spaces to create visual experiences. This may be video or interactive pieces, or may be concepts for those same experiences as paintings.
When I work, I aim to make viewers feel enveloped by the ideas within my pieces and the spaces, or perhaps worlds created by them.
While written works act as a medium for ideas to proliferate, be shared, and read by others, I’d like to craft those same ideas and stories to be felt, believed, and experienced instances of the ‘possible impossible’.
With these images, stories and realities I’d like to examine the nature of the Black, the Queer, the feminine, the masculine, and the Self as well as how we communicate with each other.
