Seyeon Choi is a designer and an entrepreneur who wants to serve as a bridge between business and a wide range of users. She believes that providing suitable content and experience for all users is the key to achieving users’ satisfaction, which is ultimately connected to the success of the business.
Seyeon wonders over a single question: “how can students receive information about career and campus activities without having to acquire an innate background of strong personal relationships with others?” To answer this question, she designed the project “Unicord,” which works to help students settle down, expand their networks, and successfully go through their academic path. The app offers not only a center of communication between upperclassmen and underclassmen but also gives students guidance to successfully pursue their career paths. Through this project, Seyeon wants to help students who are stuck in isolation away from the mainstream of social networks, as she was so in her freshman year.
