I am a multi-disciplinary artist that reconsiders community documentation beyond what has been fabricated by mass surveillance. Using film, I uplift marginalized communities of color, sexuality, status, and gender. Using creative code, I present playfully abstract, interactive spaces that expose distorted realities. Using paint, I recall lost narratives by scraping onto reflective, recycled metal surfaces that speak to the anxiety of self preservation. Using textile, I lean into the whimsical by reworking garments into designs that not only include, but sustain diversity. As a result, the work I make as a storyteller seeks to find optimism and solace in archiving the unseen.
