After my four years here at UIUC, I have fallen even more in love with design. I came into design as a purely fine artist, with a background in ceramics and drawing, and have since learned so much more about the rational and research-based side of design. It has been amazing to transform my view of the world and delve into a much more technical and hard fast world. I hope to continue to grow and learn as a designer, and to utilize my technical skills as well as the numerous other skills and tools I’ve gained from UIUC. I’ve learned so much about perseverance, hard work, and collaboration here and I am incredibly grateful.
After graduation, I plan on designing furniture in the Chicago-Area and to continue to improve as a designer and artist.
