Hi, my name is Xueqiao Sun, a senior year student in Industrial Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, concentrating on product designing. From my perspective, the meaning of designing is bringing happiness and convenience to people’s lives, and the ideas come out of love and fear, so my targeting groups are generally those who most need help, such as kids, olds, and disables, bringing them love and help them get out of fear. The sense of achievement when I imagine their happy face is my major motivation driving me forward.
