In this project I have begun to explore the power of women in sports. When represented in the sports world women are represented primarily as extra feminine and still overpowered by the men athletes. We look up to athletes as inspiration, but it has always been about the men, presenting them as kings and icons. I represent the women of sports as equally powerful as the men and make them the ones people will want to watch. While this is just the beginning of my project, I will create a publication of women from all different backgrounds and sports and help them tell their inspiring stories.
