I create photographic art to understand the strained relationship between humans and nature. My self-portraits act as a home for self-reflection where I examine the wastefulness of my own lifestyle. In an ongoing process of understanding climate change, I make artwork that separates man-made objects from the natural world. My artwork often incorporates collected waste in order to illustrate the consequences of our throw-away society. The overarching goal of all my artwork is to create questions, interpret issues, and inspire change.
