I create trendy paintings that represent my inner dialogue of flaws, strengths, and struggles through exaggerated family narratives as I search for my own identity. I am inspired by the genre of Spaghetti Westerns and its identity. As an American-Italian I am always exploring the intertwining of the two cultures. I am interested in taking Italian high fashion and dubbing them into a painting that creates suspenseful, wild, and embellished objects. Each painting speaks to the violence, extremities, and oddities within my American-Italian lifestyle through the language of paint and adornments.
